Papaji's Interior

Papaji's provides a great escape from the hustle and bustle of Whiteladies Road. Our new interior combines contemporary modern styling with colonial touches to create a relaxing retreat where our food and service can be savoured.

Bristol interior specialists Simple Simon Design have helped refine the look with new furniture, colour and materials and have achieved a subtle meeting of exotic flavours and styles - just like our food.

The main bar area benefits from lots of natural light and there is an assortment of seating for larger groups or cosy couples. Upstairs on the mezzanine there is seating for diners and a lovely elevated position over the bar to enjoy people watching and the world go by outside.

Papaji's also has a lovely garden to enjoy alfresco drinking and dining. You can enjoy the garden until 10pm in the summer and it's open during the winter too - just ask to borrow a rug from the bar (we don't agree with wasting energy on patio heaters).
