Papaji's House of Teas has many years of experience co-ordinating a wide variety of events, from cocktails and canapé parties in your own home to the wedding day of a life time. You can either make use of our multi-functional venue space or we can organise any event in the venue of your choice.

Cocktail Making Parties and Master-classes

Learn how to mix the perfect cocktail with our mixologists in a fun and relaxed environment. This fantastic interactive activity is great for Hen parties, birthday parties and company team building.

Learn about the history of mixed drinks and cocktails, some fun tricks and secret tips from the professionals. We love making cocktails and we want to educate the British public in appreciating, and how to make, a perfectly-balanced drink. Under our expert instruction you'll learn how to make some great classic and contemporary cocktails, any of your favourites, about our fresh and premium products, where they're from and how they're made, and also about all the equipment that we use.

After a few of you have been brave enough to come up and make the group some drinks, we'll end the session with a little competition. You can all create and make your own drink with the winner being decided by the rest of the group (not available in the Master-class due to time constraints).

Our Master-class will go into a lot more depth about spirit production methods and cocktail history for those that really want to know more!

We can cater for between 8-16 people at a time and the session will last approximately 2 hours. We will be able to cater for those that are unable to drink and also diabetics and celiacs.

Afternoon Tea Parties

Started in the 18th Century by the Duchess of Bedford, Afternoon Tea Parties or Dances have become an established ritual in the British psyche and is currently enjoying a revival. With a cream tea, cake and scones (light Afternoon Tea), the full works or even a Sparkling Afternoon Tea for those special occasions, our in-house bakery provides a selection of temptations for every appetite.

Afternoon tea can be the perfect way for people to get together and celebrate any occasion, or simply an excuse for a catch-up. Also available with a glass of champagne for a particularly decadent afternoon!

Children's Parties

Our mezzanine area is the perfect place to host your child's birthday party. Separate from the bar with its own toilet, the space is large enough for children to eat and play to their hearts' content. If you'd rather we came to you, we can organise everything from the clown to the birthday cake. Our chefs can cater for even the fussiest of eaters!

Corporate Events

Whether you want an informal meeting with clients or an opportunity to network with business associates, Papaji's has a range of options to meet your needs. Our extensive tea menu and drinks list are on hand to refresh, inspire and invigorate any corporate occasion.

Canapé Parties

Society Meetings
