Papaji's was opened in 2009 and has become a popular destination for food and tea lovers ever since. Owner Andy Dodd had more than 14 years experience running some of Bristol's best known cocktail bars and restaurants, and Papaji's combined his expertise in this with his passion for tea.
Andy is a qualified Tea Master and spent time working on Glenburn Tea Estate in Darjeeling. Papaji's is one of Glenburn's few UK outlets and Papaji's supports the Glenburn Welfare Trust, which helps to fund schools, the hospital and medical centres on the 1,600-acre estate.
To reflect his knowledge and enlightenment of the wonder brew, Andy has developed a range of tea cocktails to savour before and after your dinner and tea is used to flavour many dishes on the menu.
